Nice folks but shoddy work. Sometimes a vehicle can be a the second biggest investment in your life. Do you think that you should have to explain to a body shop that when you do a final clean up on a car, that means you do not use the same dirty bucket of water and washcloth contaminated with abrasives and crud from who knows how many other vehicles ? I stood in the lobby and watched my car get washed with brown water. Got it back scratched up. Not taking it back. If they cant even wash it, I am trusting them to take scratches out...ummm no thanks. Also broken and missing hardware, inside dirty etc.These guys are nothing special at all. Like most body shops, it depends on who's working on your stuff what day. I did not have a good experience and am not going back and do not recommend.
Re Owner: You guys are real good at talking the talk but you do not walk the walk. Washing a car and not scratching up, reinstalling hardware you removed, not breaking stuff, cleaning up is basic workmanship standards. It wasn't just one thing it was several, your quality control from beginning to end failed.
I went to the D & S in Chardon to have some damage to my Subaru Forester repaired. The job they did was perfect. The paint matched perfectly. Shaun was helpful and very courteous. They also went above and beyond by detailing my car inside and out. Very Happy!! I didn't expect that. The have my highest rating and I will recommend them to everyone .

Great experience at D & S. I was very distraught about the damage to my favorite car. Randy Fyffe and crew took great care with me and my car to ensure I walked away a VERY HAPPY customer. I was kept informed with details of the repairs and the timeline in which the job would be completed. They did a wonderful job and my car looks awesome! Thank you for great service!! Highly, highly recommend D&S for any collision repairs! I have used them several times over the last 10 or so years, and every vehicle has come out perfectly. My most recent trip for my SUV last month was the best yet - With a repair completed that I thought was going to require a major panel replacement. Great local family owned business!
D&S is a great place to get your car fixed. My trunk on my Ford Focus was so messed up. The team at D&S in Mentor, repaired my car in a timely manner, in which they said.
